Barbara DeMaio Caprilli

This was my debut with Piedmont Opera, the second opportunity to sing the Gingerbread Witch, and the first in a traditional production. I was excited to finally have the opportunity to work with Maestros Allbritten and LaCosse, whose work I had admired during my time in Winston Salem. I also loved the costume, makeup and wigs, certainly the ugliest, funniest role I've ever had the pleasure of singing!
